Oshawa residents can park for free at the City of Oshawa's waterfront, including Lakeview Park and Ed Broadbent Waterfront Park, by registering for a Waterfront Parking Permit.

Permits are valid from May 15 to October 15 and must be renewed each year.

Before you register your vehicle, you will need the following documents:

- Vehicle permit (green ownership document)

- Proof of Oshawa residency, showing your name and address, such as:

- Driver’s licence

- Utility bill within 60 days

- Current property tax bill

- If you are not the owner of the vehicle being registered, you must provide supporting documentation linking you to the vehicle owner

Non-Resident Parking

Non-residents and unregistered vehicles can park for a flat rate of $20 per day on weekends, public holidays, and City events.

For more information visit www.oshawa.ca/waterfrontparking.

Please note, a parking permit does not guarantee the availability of parking spaces. All parking provisions within the Traffic and Parking By-law remain in effect. You may be ticketed if your permit has not been approved prior to parking at Lakeview Park or Ed Broadbent Waterfront Park.

If you are unsure of your eligibility, please contact Service Oshawa at 905-436-3311 or service@oshawa.ca.
